As this post appears to be meant to provide helpful information to others, I am taking the liberty of adding another resource readers might find helpful. I was one of around 50 beta testers of a new service called MySeatFinder (http://www.myseatfinder.com), which takes a different approach to the "better seat" issue than say, for example, SeatGuru.com. MSF is an application that actually searches for, finds and books a better seat for frequent fliers. It does this by going through their frequent flyer account and taking advantage of the FF status.
